*laugh* How can I bash something that doesn't exist? YOU say this "god" thing is creator and lord and such, but that doesn't make it so. Your assumption isn't a universal Truth with a capital T. The Bible hardly counts as proof or fact... but I'm sure that doesn't sit well with you either.
If you're going to call "evolution" a religion, I'm going to call "quantum theory" a religion. Heck, why don't I call "french fries" and "softball" a religion too while I'm at it. They're just as much a religion as evolution and atheism.
Kid, what do you even KNOW about evolution? I would bet good money that you're here attempting to stomp on it because someone ELSE misrepresented it to you and told you that it was bollox. How about you tell me what you know, what you ACTUALLY know and not what some yahoo has told you.

Well hello there little miss Christian extremist. Evolution is the way it was and always has been. I believe there is a God that set it in motion. I do no tbash those who believe in Him. That is what you fail to understand. The majority of people believe in a higher power of some kind.
The Bible was created and in many ways editted since it came into being. Even one of the 4 main writers (John) was not added until 150 AD. Also stories and rules such as not to eat pig (because it was a filthy animal) were added to control the public in those days. In that case it was the Schwein pestulence they were fearing.
The Bible, although well written and meaningful in all of it's foundations, is a way to help people to understand certain things. Some of the stories are undoubtedly real, the people, everything about them.
However evolution is a given. It can be proven time and again. Just look at the children from a few generations ago, until now. The children are smarter, learn and understand more. It will not be long until we are all obsolete and left behind by this new learning curve they are on. That is simple evolution which takes a few years. Physical evolution takes millions of years. If you want to check it out how about you cross reference pig embryo DNA with that of a human. You will find it to be at least 90% matching, with a chimp being even more so. All these relations had to begin somewhere and that somewhere was a single cell organism a very, very long time ago.
It's all there just take your time read it and don't stay blind to the miracle of evolution that God has given us.

The reason many people bash Christianity and religion in general, is that in these modern times, the empirical sciences have had an incredible explosion in observing and explaning various phenomena which were previously inexplicable. On the other hand, religion and spirituality, instead of growing more cohesive, has split and re-split into many small disagreeing factions. So you have the sciences becoming more unified and respectable on the one hand, and religion becoming more fractured and untrustworthy on the other hand. This leads to a crass stereotype that religion is irrational vs. science which is rational. Being rational beings, people naturally target that which they think is irrational in order to eliminate it, thus bettering humanity. I'm not saying they're right, it is just important to understand why.

Why do you claim to serve the Lord, when you ask a question so filled with hate and deception that imperils your soul? If you discard the literal interpretation of the Bible and actually looked at the world, you would see that true Creationism -- the belief that God created the universe and not the Creationism of politicoreligous hacks -- and evolution are fully compatible. Your tired Creationist rhetoric shall be your damnation.

Well, the short answer is that belief in God causes your children to kill our children.
I mean, when is the last time someone blew themselves up in a crowded marketplace after screaming "Bertrand Russell is Great"? Ain't gonna happen.
More generally, belief in God stands in the way of really solving earthly problems, because religious people are incapable of thinking clearly and rationally.
In short, religion is dangerous. If it were really "live and let live" as some suggest, how do you explain the current situation in the Middle East?

initially of the earth did not start up from any "tiny piece of airborne dirt and dust". in actuality, it orginated from a huge cloud of airborne dirt and dust and gas, which become all drawn mutually by utilising gravity to kind a planet. existence, on the different hand, originated from amino acids which formed from conceivable pre-biotic situations on our planet. although, that being stated, that would not disprove your ingredient, which, actual summed up says that each little thing has again from a writer because of the fact we gained't clarify how each little thing got here to be so some time past, how count got here into existence etc. subsequently, something could desire to have created it. yet, is it additionally not a threat that it become in simple terms there perpetually? that ingredient existed for the reason that perpetually? That each little thing become in simple terms there? in spite of each little thing, in our cutting-edge gadget of physics, no count could be created or destroyed, so why could not that have been the guideline on the very commencing up (if there become one in any respect?) So Wwhy does something could desire to have a writer? enable me make an analogy: human beings "create" issues every time they reform count, like development colleges or make toddlers, by utilising a wakeful will or action. we could desire to construct a college or make a sprint one (or a minimum of have intercourse, a wakeful action). on the different hand nevertheless, what approximately mountains or rivers or volcanoes? those are actually not consciously "created", yet are in basic terms because of the of course occuring forces. they have no explanation for being, no writer to talk of. i'm not discounting your ingredient in any respect. it quite is a valid question. yet there are greater a threat solutions than "there could desire to be a writer". And just to provide help to recognize, i'm not a rabid atheist or evolutionist. i'm an agnostic. So just to substantiate you recognize i'm not in basic terms attempting to close you down, i'm going to assert with some conviction: God bless you. and that i wish you examine this.

Great question!
Why did Jesus go to Synagogue if he wasn't a Jew?
What is a soul? I know what a sole is.
"the" Bible? No such thing. Many Bibles, all different.
Please consider these tidbits:
Jews for Jesus = Vegetarians for Hamburgers
God? He or She?
Church? Christianity? Jesus? Dying?
What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?
Does Imacculate Conception have anything to do with "VIRGIN BIRTH"?
Google Imacculate Conception and learn that is NOT.
What else do you falsely believe?
Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Can Gods die?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?
Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?
No Eternal sacrifice, big deal for a day!
If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.
If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!
Life after death is like virginity after childbirth.
If the flesh of Jesus died, what was seen walking and talking on Sunday?
If you believe this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to believe it too to validate you.
Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.
Believing and not thinking is like choosing to be lost.
P.S.
The following is not my Question or my Answer.
[Do Christians on Yahoo! answers feel righteous when they report questions they disagree or disapprove of?

How does my belief, which doesn't affect you at all, qualify as God-bashing? If anyone is bashing anybody, it is you. In the same paragraph you called atheistic beliefs a fairy tale and accused them of not having brains. Judge not, lest ye be judged!

Not everyone that believes in evolution bashes God.
I myself believe in Creational Evolutionism.
You shouldn't lump everyone into one category. That's wrong....and doesn't the bible say Love Thy Neighbor.....well you aren't showing much love are you?
Why are you BASHING people for their beliefs?? You should really study your bible more if you claim to be a Christian.
