i dumped my boyfriend for someone else so he made up a lie about the other guy and now the other guy wants nothin to do wit me and my ex wants to cling onto me every single minute, but i don't want him to cause this is all his fault. What should I do about this???? Technically i'm single but my ex just won't get that through his mind.

You need to be blunt with him. Tell him that although he succeeded in ruining your chances with the new guy, you have no intention of taking him back. Tell him to leave you alone or you will get a restraining order. Just shut him down, don't take his calls, don't talk to him don't even acknowledge that he is there. He will get the picture and move on.

Dont stay anywhere that he would think you will be like if he i known for just randomly stopping at your house go stay with a friend and if you have Cell phone turn is ringer to silent so you dont have to worry about answering the phone when he calls. If you are still in school stay away from where you know he hangs out between classes. And if you really like the other guy try to explain to him what happened and that your ex is just doing all this to get to you.

Sounds like he has some insecurity problems. If he can't get it through his mind you might try asking a good friend (male of course) to act like he is with you for a couple of weeks. Hopefully the ex will figure it out and move on. He is a little to territorial, and that part will never change........Whatever you do, don't go back!

You are saying you dumped him. Did you give him explanation on why you are breaking up with him or you just dumped him and didn't let him know anything. You have to let him know what the problem was in your relationship and why you have move on but it seems to me you just up and dumped him and you had this guy on the side all along and your ex isn't giving up on you. It is up to you to fix this situation, or you going have more problems with him tagging alone and problems with every man you get rather until he gets your point.

Stay far away from your ex! Do not loose any sleep over the other guy because if he was that important he would not have ditched you.

If you can keep your distance from him. And, if its a big problem tell him that you will call the police for harassment. Things will probably die down once somebody new (female) comes into his life.

Rule on braking up.

1) don't talk to him, don't email him, don't have him come over, don't see him for ANY reason. don't call him, don't answer his call, avoid him for month and year till he is out of your life.

2) start dating again, if a fool you date don't get it then just keep dating.

stop talking to him, calling him, emailing him. everything,. if you give him a mile he is going to want a city. stop all communications with you, if he continues to go after you, threaten him in telling him that you will get a police record regarding the harrasement. that usually does it.
good luck
