what kind of kissing are we talking about? and what is the feeling of both people doing the kissing? If you feel wrong for doing it or wanting to do it then YES it is adultery. the bottom line is what does your heart tell you? Will this hurt you true love?

French kissing with the girlfriend is nice, or with wife if your married. Talking of which the french kiss everybody to greet them, a kiss on each cheek. I kiss other women on New Years Eve but only a peck on cheek and the girlfriend doesn't mind that because she kisses other men as well. That's the only time we kiss others though and it means nothing. Oh and family members kiss on cheek out of affection. Nothing wrong with it at all with the right person, its a natural thing and sign of affection and love with your partner.

Assuming you are married; is it a kiss of passion or just a cheek to cheek kiss of hello. If it is the former, yes, remember adultery need not only be physical it can be mental....

If you're married and kissing someone else, or if they are married and kissing you. That's sort of a no-brainer.
Actually, if it's the same scenario and your spending time together, it's still adultery.

Depends upon the type of kiss. A madly passionate kiss - yes, I suppose could be. The kiss of death - obviously not. A kiss of friendship, a kiss on the cheek, a kiss of respect and brotherhood(the Godfather for instance) - no also. I guess it all comes down to intent.

Not necessarily, I mean if its one little kiss on the check or lips than I wouldn't consider that adultery.

What are you kissing?
Where did the kissing take place? In front of thousands
of people? In a secluded back room, hidden from
public view?
What occurred just prior to the kissing, and just after the
kissing?
What level of guilt do you feel about the kissing?
What country did the kissing occur in? What are the
do's and don'ts in that culture or society?
If you are an adult, was the person you kissed a
minor?
Whose laws do you fall under...the laws of what country?

The mere imparting of an emotion is adultery ,if you read the scriptures you will find references of it being as if to a marriage keeping your emotions in check is a requirement to fidelity and not to be unyielding to such, even though kissing is only a partial show of an emotional connection and is a publicly allowed display it is a prelude to a much more deeper connection to mental , physical and emotional connection to that person that it is imparted ,it is adultery.no doubt about it

it depends on the type of kiss. a kiss in friendship is not adultery. however a kiss of passion is. however neither is a sin. the kiss of passion is wrong in the sense that you have betrayed the trust of the one you are committed to.
