5 days. Definitely don't call her today unless she is fat or has low self-esteem, because you will appear over-anxious. All women like a good challenge. 5 days is long enough to intrigue her, but not long enough to be rude.

okay - here's the deal. This crap about waiting three days to call is just a guy's way of looking for other options before he picks up the phone.
An early afternoon call is perfect - it's casual and it's AWESOME that you can cook. But from a woman's perspective, ask her out to drinks or coffee first and then see how it goes. Throwing a home cooked meal at her in such an intimate and private environment can be really uncomfortable for both of you if you find you don't actually click.
But you've got the right idea - and thanks for asking the question. Most guys would ask their friends - and that usually results in the woman getting played. And honey, let me tell you we don't like that.
If you like us, call us. If you like us more after the call, get some coffee with us. If you STILL like us - then bring up the fact that you're a fantastic cook and invite her over for dinner. If she seems a little hesitant, offer to let her bring a few friends so it can be a more relaxed "get to know each other" environment. Bring one or two of your friends if she's okay with that. Letting her see you with your friends, and seeing how you treat her friends will be quite the eye opener for her and can definitely impact her desire to see you again.
Good luck!

Well, if she was really into you, go ahead an call. Early afternoon sounds good. And yeah I'd say most girls do seem to go for good cooks. If your gonna invite her over, do something simple. Don't get all dramatic or romantic. Let her have something to look forward to later in the relationship...

Give it at least a day or two. You don't want to appear too anxious, but don't wait too long (I never understood that one from men) or she will think you blew her off.
Another thing, did she GIVE you her number or did you ASK for her number?
Invite her for something a few days from now. You shouldn't ever expect a girl to be free the day you call. Or maybe start with a coffee shop date and then cook her dinner.

Call soon while the memory of you is fresh in her mind..ask her out to a public place at first, as a private place with someone new could be scary or uncomfortable. Take her to a nice restaurant and good luck//

hey darling that sounds pretty good. but you might not want to invite her to your place on the first date soem girls might think tht you are going to try something and you might noe want to give them that impression ritght away. maybe yall can go out to a candle light dinner somewhere first and see where that goes then maybe on the second date ask to your place for a nice cooked meal by you and if i was her and you done that you would have melted me right away.... GOOD LUCK

Nah...u can do what u want..I usually wait 2 days to call. Just talk with her for a little bit..I wouldn't even ask her out on a date right away. Just see what she's like first. thanku come again.

Call her when you know she will be off from work and not heading home. Do it tonight, what do you have to loose?
Women loveme who can cook, ask her her favorite meal and if you don't have it go to the store.
My guy makes stir-fry for me and cooks the vegies I like

Hey man, just be yourself...if she doesn't like you, then forget about it. Cooking for her is a great way to start.
