I would say as a man the best thing to lead you to know is 1) he isnt interested in other women and 2) he respects you but does not grovel 3) he is there during hard times not just times he gets to say "I love you" but if you have a problem he actually rolls up his sleeves and helps you. 4) he NEVER ignores you when you talk to him about something serious (ie looking away but says "Im listening honey" unless he is doing something important like fighting off a lion or something.

Get him very angry and dump him......if he still wants you back then he love you and wants to spend his life with you forever.....
This will really open your eyes.....it shows you how he acts when he get's mad( just in case you marry him). The other thing is if he can or cannot live with out you then you got a real man.
