Now that it's getting colder out, I'd feel more comfortable if he'd sleep with something warmer along with his blankie. It's so small. I even took him out and bought him a Nemo comforter, but he'll have nothing to do with it. Any advice??

Dress him in blanket sleepers for sleep..

Purchase a set of flannel sheets they stay nice and warm...

Walmart usually has the for under $15.00 a set for twin size...

Purchase a bed tent

His body heat will quickly bring the temperature inside up to a nice level...

Along with the blanket sleeper and flannel sheets your son will sleep warmly even if the temperature dips a bit during the night...

After he is asleep you can cover him with a blanket besides his favorite... He may kick it off during the night, children have a tendancy to sleep hot meaning thier temperature actually rises a bit while they sleep... I have been told it has to do with growing and rebuilding muscles and such... The construction in the body generates heat...

Most of all don't worry when your son begins getting cool during the night, he will gain interest in his comforter...

I agree with other answerers. Let him have his blankie, but place the warmer one at the bottom of the bed. Once he is asleep, if it makes you feel better, place the warmer comforter over him. Or, let him pick out his own "new blankie", but reassure him he can keep the other one.

Let him have his "blankie" but put the comforter with in reach when he gets cold he will cover up or wait until he goes to sleep and cover him up with the comforter, but don't take his "blankie" away from him, we all have our comfort item for me it is an old green blanket that is soft and just puts me to sleep.

Dress him more warmly and give him his blankie! Or give him both the warmer blanket AND the blankie. If he's old enough, he'll soon figure out that the warmer blanket is good, once he feels chilly.

let him cuddle with his blankie and cover him with something else...BTW, if your home is at least 68 degrees a baby will be comfortable. YOUR comfort isn't the problem it's HIS.

Wait until he falls asleep & then cover him up. I had a blankie at one time & it was my best friend. He'll grow out of it.

i really don't see anything wrong with it, its more of a comfort for him, after he falls asleep put another blanket on top of him, but don't try taking his blankie away.

Get him some warmer pajamas. Preferably flannel or cotton. If he won't sleep with anything else, then put him in warm pajamas and make sure his feet are covered with socks or maybe footie pajamas. Put flannel or cotton sheets on his bed. If he won't use anything else, then at least get him as warm as possible.
