It makes no sense because we don't have the whole story. God doesn't care too much for history, the story is in the Bible to teach us something.
The fact remains, there is only one way to create life. To assume God molded clay or whatever is juvenile. Adam was created just as you, I, or anyone else has been created.

Yes Adam was created as a man in the likeness of God. God created Adam and Eve sinless. For they were only two people throughout the earth sin came into earth due to Satan in snake form in which he enticed Eve to eat the forbidden fruit of Eden, and sin was introduced to the world. Since at first being created sinless there is no life long steps he needed to learn as a child. And yes Adam lived to 930 yrs old lets just say he died form old age which is possible due to the fact the earth was just created he did not have to worry about diseases or pollution.

Adam was created as a mature adult. He did not need to learn things as a child, since all of his needs were taken care of in the Garden of Eden. He didn't have to figure out how to take care of himself until he and Eve were kicked out of the garden.

Adam did live 900 years. A lot of people lived to comparable ages until just before the great flood. And they all followed a normal aging cycle throughout that time.

But in Genesis 6:3, God limited the lifespan of humans to 120 years. That verse says: Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."

I hope that clarifies things for you.

Life begun for Adam when he was enlightened and start to realized that he was created with a purpose more than the other creatures existing on earth. He was given the capability to understand nature and enjoy his life with it. He also was given the charge to take care of the environment as he was told to subdue the earth and all the animals of sea, land and air.
He was a creature before existing like the apes and other animals until there was the breath of life God or higher consciousness in his mind that developed to make him more than the animals around him. His physical age can be old enough to understand all those things laid on his eyes...maturity.... we are the only ones that put numbers to our growing pains.

Now you are seeing the holes in the churches logic.
Jesus "apparently" skipped teenhood too.
He went from baby in the manjor, straight to being an adult.

Also, if we all came from adam and eve, wouldn't that call for insest to poulate the world. Brother and sister, children of adam and eve, impregnating eachother, gross huh?
But waite a minute, doesn't the bible speak out against insest?
