That was in the Unabridged Bible... They had to cut parts out to get PG13 certification. They're realeasing 'Bible: the Director's Cut' on DVD soon though...

It does say that when Cain left for the land of Nod that his wife went with him. So whoever he married, it happened before he went to Nod.
Second. just because a place has a name does not mean it is inhabited. Not many human living at the South Pole. Also the author of Genesis is writing long after the time the event occurred. There are several times when the author refers to cities or countries and then says "that place is now called" and give a newer name. So was the land Nod when Cain moved there, are was it Nod at the time the author was writing? Like we might say thefor centuries American Indians followed the buffalos from North Dakota to Colorado - even though neither place was named that at the time.
It does not say that during the 130 years after Cain and Abel and before Cain's exile that Adam and Eve did or did not have any other children. Since Cain was married before he was exiled, it would be more logical to assume there were other children then were not. The wife had to come from somewhere. It does say that Eve considered Seth to be a replacement for Abel. But that does not mean there were no other children in between. They were just not Abel's replacement.
Finally, read through the genealogies of Genesis, and you will find that unless there was a extreme situation, the names of the wives are not listed. Name Cain's wife? Or Seth's, or Methusaleh, or Noah, or any of this sons... As the details were no important to the central story of the Bible, God's salvation for man, it was not included.
The book already runs over 3.6 million words. Do you really want more lists of people we know nothing about but their names?

You claim "It says he left Adam and Eve before they had other children, "
Where does it say that, or is it just that you infer that?
"he went to NOD a different land
Was it a far land, or just a short ways?
>where did the people inhabiting NOD come from.
How about some of Adam & Eve's othere 33 sons and 23 daughters?
>"It does not say Cain married his sister.
And it doesn't say that he didn't. Take the story as it is simply told [for simple readers]. Obviously the simple solution is that he married his sister. In later times, as the effects of the Fall more contaminated the gene pool then it was forbidden; but in those early days it seems it was permitted. In fact, the only way at first.

Cain went to Nod, where he found a wife. No other children of Adam and Eve are mentioned in the bible prior to Cain going to Nod.

We all came from Adam and Eve. So, the only way for Cain to have children would be either with Eve or his Sister!
There are alot of things "left out" of the bible because it isn't vital information.

We do not know for sure that it was his sister---it could have been a cousin. We are not sure of the time line concerning the other children of Adam and Eve, and we do not know precisely at what age Cain murdered Abel. Much of what is in the Bible must be reasoned out---God does expect us to use the intellegence that he gave us. If God were to spoon feed us everything, then he would have made us all like the What Should I Do Retard.

We have no idea how many children Adam and Eve had in the Garden nor any idea how many children the next generations of children were born in the garden. We have no idea how many children they had after they were thrown from the garden, therefore we have no idea if Cain married a sister or a niece or down the line.
If Adam and Eve obeyed God in the Garden, they were fruitful and multiplied. Right?

You're reading from the book of Nod, aren't you?
Well, the theory there is that the City of Nod was inhabited by Ables children. So following that logic, he had sex with is great grand daughter.

Let's put all the possibilities in the form of a multiple choice question:
The Bible says Cain had a wife. Of all the possible sources for a wife, from which category of living beings did his wife come from:
1. Animals
2. Birds
3. Insects
4. Fish
5. Sisters
Please choose only one.
Does it make more sense now?

Ah, interesting question, but I have
a small message for you which
should brighten your day considerably.
the Bible was not written with small,
mail - in cards for you to fill in with
questions about parts of the text that
you did not understand.
The people from Nod came from their
parents who came from their parents,
and so forth. It is not as if they moved
there from Detroit. They existed.
What ever gave you the idea that Cain
married his sister? In your wildest dreams
do you suppose there was only one girl
with that name... Like there is only one
Mary, and only one Linda in all of creation.
Get real.
Get a life. Move on.
