Simple by praying with a mixed religious group you are praying with people who do not believe the truth. As well as the fact that your are in a sense denying the Lord Jesus Christ. You are ashamed to boldly speak the name of the one who died for you, and you give the people you are praying with false hope by you saying their religion is all right. The Bible says:" I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the father but by me. " Show the Muslim that Allah CANNOT save them, show Catholic church that praying to the saints, Mary, and the pope CANNOT save them. Accepting Jesus Christ is the only way that we can go to heaven. That may seem intolerant, but it is not i say that because I do not want those in religions that worship anything besides Jesus Christ to die and spend an eternity in hell

To the Christian it would be like not recognizing God. Its like not saying thank you to your mom for a gift, and just saying Thanks Dad.

It shouldn't harm the faith. It might make one feel guilty. Some zealous Christians will say that if you don't name Jesus, then your prayer is not that strong.

You should never be afraid to pray in the name of Jesus, no matter who you're with. There is a scripture that says that those who acknowledge Christ in front of others, Christ with acknowledge them before His father. Those who do not acknowledge Christ before others, He will not acknowledge them before His Father.

It's just to say that you should never be afraid of your faith, or expressing it or sharing it. Are those other religious groups afraid of expressing their faith?

We Christians are the light of the world. Let it shine.

God bless.

Those who throw Jesus's words in your face. About if you're
ashamed of Jesus, He will be ashamed of you. Are hypocrites.
Christians are asked to have understanding. That might
mean taking it slow at first. Setting an example, and then
reaching out to others with the word.

Once the Jehovah's Witnesses came to my house to "study" with me. They prayed plainly in Jehovah's name. I was not a JW and still am not, but it just goes to show you that they're not afraid to ruffle feathers even though people largely disagree with them. Then you have the devote muslims who stop what they're doing even at work to go and pray to mecca. Gays and lesbians aren't afraid to speak up for gay pride and they even have a parade! In the bible, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (sorry if I misspelled their names) they refused to bow down to the statue that King Nebby had built even though every one else did. They didn't even care that they would be thrown into a blazing furnice if they did that! We gotta step up our game and speak out on what we believe.

I believe that person is ashamed, like your scared to speak of Him before others... If you are truly a Christian and you love God you wouldnt be ashamed to say name in front of others. I wouldnt say it harms your faith... but i would say that you should repent because the bible says in Matt 10:33 "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." so repent and God will forgive you....

In the Bible it say whatever you ask or whatever you pray, pray in my name (In Jesus name) and it will be done. Now if there not mentioning his name because they are ashamed to do so. The Bible also says if you are ashamed of me I will be ashamed of you before my father.

We are to pray to God in Jesus name, so if you leave Jesus out of it, then you are wasting your time.
