Where did you learn the most about sex?

In health class, by reading or by doing? And what was the most useful thing you learned?

by doing it, and the most useful thing I have learned is:

-if you are open with yourself and your body, and are comfortable with the person you are with it will be better
-if you have explored your body and know what you like, and COMMUNICATE that, and have the guts to let loose and take control its better
-if you don't view sex as something for the mans pleasure only!!, girls wanna have fun too
-men are different than women, they climb get from zero to excited very fast, and then from excited to a plataue of pleasure very fast, and then we'll to the orgasm fast, then have to take the time to go all the way back down to zero to start again
-women take longer, with more emotional and physical stimulation to reach both excitement and a plataue of pleasure, then they get to their orgasm not long after that, then they can have an orgasm, plataue, orgasm, plataue, orgasm, plataue
-men have problems lasting long enough for women to have even her first orgasm because of this
-men need to give women lots of emotional and physical stimulation, before sex, and honestly not focus on their own pleasure durring sex, if the woman is going to have an orgasm (or else he will explode to soon!!)
-this means compromise, it means sometimes, the man can have sex however he wants, (blowing it before her orgasm so he can feel his full pleasure of sex) as long as he makes up for it!!
-oh and DO IT WITH SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT!!

I was always told about the birds and bees from a young age. My parents never tried to shield me from anything but I learned more than I should have on my own. Watching a lot of movies, listening to BAD advice from friends, thinking it was "cool" to have sex and boys would like me more. All of it is a bunch of crap. I wish I had waited and wish I didnt do some of the things I did but the best lessons are learned from experience.

I dated a man that was 29 when I was 19 that was one of the best lovers I had up to that point. He showed me a lot of different techniques in the bedroom and was a very patient teacher. He taught me to have an open mind, relax and enjoy sex truely for what it was. I will have to give a lot of credit to him for most of the things that I know and the open mind I now have in the bedroom. I now know that experimentation is a good thing and not a "forbidden fruit" that should not be explored.
