Great question Brent! A lot of folks don't realize that Walcott was a better fighter near the end of his career than early on. He had good power, and was very crafty. Patterson was known for his leaping left hook, peekaboo stance, and unfortunately also a weak chin. This would be a good boxing match with Patterson having the edge in hand speed but probably getting knocked down several times by Walcott during the fight. I think Walctt connects with Patterson's chin in round 12 and wins by TKO.

it is an exciting journey-up. Floyd had magnificent hands, and, before the well known Johanssen KO, at the same time as Ingemar obviously suffered a seizure, ideal means. yet Walcott had all-round skills. He received the identify at the same time as he replaced into truly old: 38. Floyd replaced into the option, very nearly too youthful. some imagine Marciano retired because he did not opt to face Liston's means or Floyd's speed and stream. uncertain. no you will be able to wrestle Walcott, or a minimum of provide him a identify shot. close call. i am going to flow with Floyd at the same time as he replaced into nevertheless a baby with means. He not in any respect were given over the Johanssen knockout. Scared him stupid. He replaced into an fairly respectable guy. by technique of 30, Walcott. A 21 year old Patterson or 38 year old Walcott. I provide Floyd a mild part.

Patterson was an underrated fighter because of his glass jaw. Charles was a very good boxer. In this fight I have Charles winning by 15 rd unanimous decision.

Both are good fighters but both have Weak Chin and a Decent power.

It will be like the Patterson/Johannson Series were both Combatants exchange Knockdowns.

But I'll Pick Patterson because of his Resiliency, Patterson was knocked down so many times but most of the times he came back to win.

not sure if jersey joe had a prime, he was old when he was given a true shot but his prime prob early 1950`s when he was prob well into his 30`s a 22 yr old patterson prob would have won a decision, walcott too conservative to score the ko and patterson quicker gets the verdict.
