My boyfriend is against the idea of me talking with my ex bfs.. I asked him kindly to keep my past lovers as simple friends (very limited relations, like hi merry chrismas, happy thnksgiving etc.. ) he was like ok.. all right , but you tell me everything unusual that happens

Well yestedrday I was talking with my ex and before saying gooodbye all of a sudden he saidI love you .. And it sounded so sincere then when I asked him if he meant it he said we'll talk about it another day..

I wasgonna ask him to never call me anymore but he didn't give me a chance to finish what I was saying

When I told my bf about it as I promised to do he got sooooo mad at me said I gave this garbage (my ex) the possibility to disrespect me and disrespect him ..

was he right to get mad at me ? what was my fault ? ...

:(

I'd agree with your bf. this would not have happened if u weren't in contact with this particular ex. women like to believe that guys are able to carry on strictly platonic relationships with them. some guys, in VERY rare cases, are able to. but for the most part all those "platonic" friends of the opposite sex would bang u in a heartbeat. which is why there's no place for it. i don't believe a woman in a commited relationship should have 'friends' of the opposite sex and i won't stand for it in my relationships.

Hello bar474744,

That is the reason why your present boyfriend doesn't want you seeing your X-boyfriends. You now see yourself why he asked you to not do that. Guys still want to hook up with their X's.

Girls always want to keep all of their boyfriends on a string, just in case they aren't getting enough attention or entertainment from their present boyfriends. Some guys know this while other guys don't.

It's amazing that he has respected you for this, and hoped that you would always do the right thing. But, here you didn't ask the X never to call you again, and you didn't immediately tell your present boyfriend about what happened.

You and your boyfriend learned a valuable lesson about relationships.

Now as to go as far and say that you permitted him (the ex) to disrespect you and your current boyfriend I think is going to far, you couldn't prevent it or such. But ya' don't talk anymore to this guy...its best that way! Note it will only cause friction between you and your current b/f...just forget about the ex he is precisely that a ex!!!!

Kind of your fault, because common sense would have told most to either not hang out with ex. lovers or to withhold some facts from a ball of raging jealousy.

He's probably very insecure. i nearly lost my wife many years ago because I was insecure. Try and reassure him that he's the one you love (unless he's not) and if he doesn't ease up on the jealousy and especially if it gets worse 86 him right out of your life. That could spell trouble.
