The year I was born, Winnie the Pooh first came out.
Wow, long time ago...the 70's.
My name is Wendy, but I was dubbed pooh from the moment my father saw me in the window at the hospital.
I have tried, and failed, for 33 years to convince him its WINNIE the pooh, not WENDY. He knows that, but won't stop. When my younger brother was born, he added an ah on the end of it, like most babies when they learn to talk. So they called me poohah.
I have never been called wendy by my dad or brother, its poohah. My 16 year old recently tried to go there, he knew he made a huge mistake.... :)

My brother and sister are twins, six years my senior, when we were growing up my mom always called them "Frick" and "Frack." When I was three I was jelous of them having a nickname and asked my mom to call me by the only word I could think of that started with an "F," I wanted her to call me "Fat"...thank goodness I wasn't a chubby kid.

My name is Leslie and my Grandpa calls me Lestoyl to this day.

Yes, Daddy called me "Sweetie-Pie". He's been deceased for awhile now, and I had forgotten this...Thank you for pulling it out of the recesses of my mind.
