My boyfriend and me split up, then he met a new girl, but still kept texting me and saying he loves me and we need to be together but he didn't want to leave the new girl. So I stopped all contact with him, now he started texting me again saying I should pls speak to him and live is so dull without me and he misses me....What does it mean? Why do huys do this?

Wow! All I can say is this situation really hit home because i'm in the exact same situation yet i'm the "new girl"....I met a guy and we started seeing each other- he had JUST broken up with his gf and I know that initially when we first started talking he was still texting her and saying stuff...All I would recommend to you is to probably leave him alone- If he's still talking to the new girl which im sure he is then he's probably lying to both of u (which im sure my guy had intentions of doing)...he wasnt able to get away with anything though because her and i have talked numerous times so I really knew what was going on...Either way exes are exes for a reason...if he could move on so fast and with someone else it probably isn't meant to work out with you! There are so many other people in this world that it's not worth taking scraps of a relationship! Either someone wants all or nothing and if they just want a part of you then tell them to F off!!! ;)

GREAT question !! I am in a similar situation myself. How long you two were together plays a huge part one thing maybe that he wants to know if you are seeing anyone and if so how serious it is also he still at least likes you because he cares enough to text you. Whatever it what he is starting to realize that he was wrong but isn't ready to admit to it yet. The new girl is putting out that's why he won't leave her ! let me know how it works out.

He wants to know you are still there for him...i think you are really strong for stopping all contact with him..the more you do that the more he will want you back b-cuz he knows your not waiting for him. let him go your to good for him..He should of realized his life would be dull w/out u b-4 he agreed to split up.

i swear i am going thur the same thing basically you just took my question ! good you left him alone all he wants is his cake and eat it too. he just cant stand the thought of you getting someone else or being happy with out him,but he is willing to go on with his life that is not fair ! don't take a back seat to a new chick when you put your time and effort into that relationship stay strong and keep up the good work

If he's still with this other girl, then he is setting you up for one major emotional fall to crush your heart and spirits. Don't go near this snake honey, or you'll be spending at least a year in recovery and regret because of it.

obviously he cant make up his mind. that's not the kind of guy you want 2 be with. hes probably looking for someone 2 fill some kind of hole in his life that a "friend" couldn't. guys do it cause they have no other way of filling their need other then 2 have a body with them for moral support.
