Race and nationality is nothing more than adaption based on climate and other environmental factors look at it from another angle
Africans come from a hotter climate (Adam and Eve we black)there for to adapt and survive they have coarse hair and darker skin to protect them from the sun
when we started to move around do different continents we didn't need that for survival like colder climates lighter skin started to evolve and humans started to live longer (living in huts etc) that had an effect on how we look
just like animals of the same specIEs ie: dogs cats...look different based on where they are from

I have asked this question, too- cause like- if we are all from Adam and Eve, then are we all commiting incest? What I was told was that Adam and Eve were the first, thus made it into the Bible in the story, but somewhere in the Bible as it is mentioning Adam and Eve, it suggests that God also made others after Adam and Eve. And then about the race part of the question, I also have heard the equator story of why people have different skin tones and I have heard the Towel of Babel story to support the different types of people, too. It is a good question- to which no one (But, God, I guess) will TRULY have the correct answer to. Have you ever asked a minister this question? I was just wondering.

This proceeds from the assumption that Adam and Eve existed. But, if we go with that, then the other races came from millions of years of evolutionary adaptation to climate, etc.

This dread i met explained that when the built the tower of babel(sp?) to reach the heavens this is when god created different races so they could not communicate. With out being able to understand one another they couldn't finish the tower to heaven.
Thats the story in the bible.

Think Adam and Eve is more of a parable than an actual event. the real question is if they had to 2 sons (Cain and Able) where did the rest of us come from.....

Diffrent races and languages come from God punishing the ones trying to build the tower of Babylon to "overthrow" God. He says that all men will not be able to communicate with each other to keep them from trying to do it again. If they could not talk, then how can they come up with another plan??

Depends, if you are a christian, then the changes came when God destroyed the tower of Babel.
If you aren't, then natural selection and genetic drift caused the different races.

The different races come from the different sons of Abraham. The twelve tribes of Abraham can be found in the Bible and that will be more specific .
