Maybe the men you are looking at are immature. Just because you have a condition that does not determine who you are. As long as you take your medication regularly you should not have a problem with daily life or activities. If these men can not understand that, then you don't need them at all. They need to understand that by you being Bipolar does not mean you are handicap. You will find someone who will love you for you. Just give it time, like in all relationship, you can't hurry things.

I don't know how old you are, but if you're looking for just "any" man to care, you're selling yourself short. Be who you are, love who you are, and eventually you'll meet someone who loves who you are too. Finding the right person is a journey. Life can seem like a series of rejection sometimes, but each failed relationship is a learning experience that will help bring you one step further toward the one that will be successful. Be patient. Bipolar is a controllable illness when treated properly.... it shouldn't be an issue if you're stable. And even though I don't believe you should hide it or be ashamed of it, if it's information you offer a man on a first date, they may be intimidated or misinformed about the condition. Maybe its something you should wait to discuss or explain until you get to know him a little better and have more trust in him. We all have weaknesses, insecurities, and issues that can cause problems in a relationship, but we don't enter the first date by handing each other a laminated copy of them. Handle it all in moderation....

I think the woman I just left was bipolar. She may have had that and other issues, but she was mean, and nasty fasr too often for me to be able to stay with her. I loved her and wanted her, but she was so sh!tty to me, and to most everyone, I just couldn't stand it anymore.
I'm sorry that things are this way for you. Yes, you deserve to be loved, so does she, but she drove everyone out of her life. You may be doing the same thing. She was an angry, hostile and impatient person...not a good combo of qualities, and everything had to be her way all the time. There was no compromise, and there's no way anyone can live with that stuff.
Have you gone to the doctor? Is there anything that CAN be done?
Do you read the bible?
I hope you can find your happiness somehow. It's a shame when a heart does not have someone to love.
hugs for you

Because you're deluded into thinking you "deserve" something, which probably means you expect it to come to you instead of you going out and finding it.
Because you're blaming your mental illness rather than doing what it takes to get yourself as stable as possible.
Because you're being too picky. Viz. the old joke about the man looking for the perfect woman, and he finds her, but can't have her because she's looking for the perfect man.

Stop looking and just start living your life. Have fun. Enjoy. When you stop looking and least expect it is when he'll suddenly come along, and you'll both know it.

Are you controlled by meds? If yes, don't tell them. If not, go to help groups. maybe you can find another bipolar to date.
