Nano technology is available and in use today. In fact, believe it or not, the Greeks and Romans had a form of nano technology (although they didn't know it) that was in use 2000 years ago.

Available? Like where? Walmart? The technology has to be built into something and therefore can not be used for ramdom tasks. Not yet anyway.

I imagine it is already available to some of the powerfull governments of the world, I think the question should be when will it be readily available to the public

It is already producing products, such as thin nano films. A lot of research is going into nano-bio applications.
