Then take it to a shelter and sign it over. It may be euthanized, but that is your choice since you got an animal that you cannot afford.
Do not get anymore pets until you can afford them.

I agree with mostly everyone else.

Get those yellow pages open and start calling around. If you had a broken leg, would you just suck it up and deal with it? Infection can set in, the bones may heal wrong or not at all, depending on the severity of the break, and anyone who watched "Animal Cops" on Animal Planet knows that if you neglect your animals' RIGHT to veterninary care, you WILL get a fine.

If you can't afford emergencies like this, then you can't afford the fine. And, you shouldn't have a pet if you can't properly take care of it. Period.

I work at a vet hospital and we encounter this all the time. First you need to understand that pets aren't cheap. I know that vet bills are costly and if you cant afford to care for the kitty then you should consider surrendering it to a humane society. Although it seems unfair to euthanize a cat for a broken leg unless it required othropedic surgery, it is an option. It is unfair to the cat to suffer because you can't pay. You could also consider yourself or a friend getting CareCredit, google it online. It pays for your vet bill like a credit card and you pay them back. You could pawn something, ask uncle joe or get an advance. There is no limit I would stop at to help a pet I decided to keep. They depend on us for security, love and help. Good luck, hope this helps.
DO NOT BY ANY MEANS GIVE YOUR CAT BABY ASPRIN, ITS METABOLIC SYSTEM CAN NOT HANDLE IT AND YOU COULD JEAPORDIZE ITS HEALTH EVEN MORE.

your pet is your responsibility. they depend on you for food, water, vet bills. if you cant afford the medical treatment maybe you should NOT have a cat. please find the money to take him to the very. if it doesnt heal properly he could be in pain the rest of his little life and thats not fair to the kitten. also, he could get an infection which will cost you even more money. call an emergency clinic and see what they said. if you are old enough you can apply for a care credit account which you can use at most vets its a credit card for pets...and when all is done..get pet health insurance to help you with this stuff in the future.

Most vets will work with you on a payment plan. If this kittens leg is really broke, you need to get treatment for it. You took on the responsability of healthcare for this animal when you got it. If you do not care for this animal, then take it to the spca, where it will either get the leg fixed, or it will be put out of its suffering. Reguardless, don't get pets when you cannot afford them please.

Aww you cant just leave a cat in that pain, how crewl! Usually most vets would have a bill that you can get treatment and then pay back bit-by-bit try that out or get a local animal shelter to see if they have any resourses to help you out, anyway good luck and allk the best xx

Call some vets and see if they would be willing to let you make payments. The kitten needs to be seen. It could have pain and a twisted leg for life if you don't get it taken care of.

Take it to a shelter. They will have you sign it over and they will either fix it or put him down. You may work out something with them if you want to keep the kitten so you can pay it out. You have to take the kitten in because it is in misery and if it gets infected it will be worse for it and may not be able to get well.Best wishes!

Sell your computer, and anything else you can afford to lose.. like your TV, and stereo, and all that other stuff you don't actually need to keep you alive. And get the poor kitten the help it needs. It's extremely cruel not to. You really shouldn't be keeping animals if you can't afford to take care of them. :-/
