We've been going to nudist beaches and resorts for a long time and always had a great time. It's totally non-sexual and very relaxing, you also find that people are much friendlier and with a much more laid back attitude to life.

Not personally. However, from what I've heard from close friends (who've tried to talk me into going many times), it is a little embarrassing at first, followed by amazement, followed by somewhat stimulating, followed by no big deal. In other words, one supposedly gets used to it fairly quickly.
Of course, here is Europe, nudism is pretty commonplace, with hundreds of nudist beaches, resorts, camp grounds, parks, and so on, all over the place. If one doesn't want to go nude, almost all public parks & beaches here allow topless sunbathing.
But the fact that it is commonplace hasn't yet drove me to overcome my basis shyness about the whole thing. Perhaps that is due to my fairly conservative American upbringing.

I have a guy friend -(just a friend!)- who goes to the nudist resort regularily. He says that it is very natural, and it is totally NON-SEXUAL. He says that he never even feel sexual or excited because its just a natural thing to be nude there. (I can kinda understand. I think its much more exciting to imagine what might be under someone's clothes, than to just see them all out naked in front of me). Anyway, he says its very relaxing, and comfortable. I would not go to one though, because I think I would feel too sexual about it, and excited.
