Cocoa : your dog is brown and sweet, just like chocolate, so what about the seed from which it is extracted ????

(at first, I thought to tell you Tarabas, but had problems to tell you the origin but that it was a character of an Italian moovie) !

If i had a brown dog like you described i would name it chocolate or thunder. Some dogs answer better if you give them a human name though, so just try a few different ones that seem to fit his personality and see which ones he seems to like. Good luck finding a name =)

Dawg...the name of the dog in Hi and Lois.

Cuno...my dog's name. Means dog in old gaelic. He is brown and carmel colored and has the sweetest face (but baaaaad breath lol). He is very laid back and gentle. just a mutt that we got from the shelter...he was found in a trailer park. He weighs about 75 # and looks lilke a shepherd/collie/retriever/heaven only knows what.

Hmmm ... brown and sweet ........

CADBURY

KAHLUA

OREO

You're like me ... the name has to suit the puppy. I don't name my new animals until I learn his personality a bit. Their face and the look in their eyes also plays a big part in what I name them. It's hard for me to do so with your dog ... as you didn't mention very much, in regards to his character ... but, going by your description of him being sweet and brown ... I think I like "Cadbury" or "Oreo" best. Good luck to you and your new puppy ...... I'm sooo jealous!!

I like the name 'Fang' but then I do have a very small Jack Russell called 'Storm' so I may not be the best person to ask. My brother had a huge black dog that he called 'Nellie' so my whole family choose rather strange names.

Aww what a good doggie! Anyway, don't name your puppy anything that's a noun such as person, place, or thing. Because well first of all if you do say it you don't want your dog coming to you EVERY SINGLE TIME and in my religion *my religion loves animals* it's bad luck to name them a person, place or thing. I think Nova is a reaalli cute name. Cuz like it's brown and nova reminds me of fire or hot*since it's cute* and brown is kinda like red. Nova is like a name for good n respecting n it's tottally TITE! Good luck ^^
