Asking the question in the "cooking & recipes" section is probably not a good start!

Find the side of a mountain and climb it?
On a serious note, look out for outdoor pursuit clubs, they usually include rock climbing/absailing etc.

I love rock climbing and climb about once a week. If you want to start I suggest you first go to a gym near you and talk to someone that works there they will get you set up and will rent you equipment. it is also good to get a few lessons before you start climbing on your own.

And what does this have to do with food and cookery? Do you want to climb rock cakes? Or is there some secret society of rock-climbing cooks that I don't know about?

I would look into beginners classes at a local county/state park or go to a rock wall and get the jest of it there.... you can also search the net for groups in your area and maybe pair up with someone else for days out....

But one things I would def. do is put this question in the right category. :)
