it depends on what in the world you are talking about, but typically if it is anything that needs gloves... NO! take it to the vet! especially anal glands and neuter/spay...
use your common sense!!!

Well if you do your dog will learn to expect you to do it for him all the time. You will also become the less dominant one in your relationship.
If your dog is not neutered get it done for hishealth. It will remove the risk of prostate and testicular cancer and make hi m a better more focused pet.
