Feed her only bland food(boiled chicken breast-skinless-and well-cooked white rice). If she is acting normally otherwise, then I would wait another 24 hours.if she is not better by then, take her to the vet.Feed her very small amounts of the food, and give her ice-cubes to lick to keep her hydrated. As long as she has her shots and there is no blood in the stool or vomit,it's probably just an upset tummy.I have two dogs who periodically get this, and they have all their lives. My vet says that it is not uncommon and as long as it resolves itself within 24-48 hours, and the dog stays hydrated, then not to worry. If she can't hold any food down, however, because she is a puppy, then I would at least call the vet for advice as it is Friday and you don't want a weekend emergency.

Even if a dog has had shots they can sometimes still get parvo, I know from experience my brother-in-laws dog got it even after having her shots. It can also be caused by worms especiall if the dog is still acting normal right now. Really the only way to tell is to take the dog to the vet and let them run tests. You can try giving it wormer and see if that does anything.

The concern is that the dog will become dehydrated so I think it would be important to have the dog assessed at a vet. You could also try taking her off food for half a day or 24 hours and see if this alllows the tummy to rest enough.

Parvo. Parvo is a truthfully transmitted illness rather in youthful domestic canines. Your canine could look for instantaneous help as parvo might properly be deadly. on the grounds that she started 2 days in the past I woild recommend you maintain her faraway from all different canines. in case you rush to a vet you are able to desire to sidestep existence changing edge impacts.

Sounds like Parvo except that you say it has had all its shots. You have had FOUR parvo (DHLPP) shots, right?
Could be worms, could be poisoning, could be viral, could be anything. Could be nothing, could be deadly. Without doing tests you won't know. Go to the vet NOW. If it is parvo it could very well kill your dog before the weekend is done.

Actually, chocolate is not as bad as everyone thinks it is for dogs. It's bakers chocolate that is really bad for dogs. But I do agree with Robin D, it does sound like PARVO. I would take your pup to the vet right away!!

Has she been wormed?
Did she eat a rubber band or a red bologna wrapping?
I'd take her to the vet just to be safe.
Sounds like parvo. Is the vomit green?

It could be the food, you may want to try plain white rice for a bit, my friend does that when their terrier gets sick like that.
