She might be into you, or she may be mad at you for some reason. You may want to just talk to her about it.

I was good friends with a 25yr old when I was 15. It was cool because he was an older man. By the time I was 18 and he was 28, I saw him more as a creepy man than the sexy older guy. I stopped talking to him. Besides, people change so much when they are that young. The person she was at 14 is probably very different from who she is now.

It sounds like she is interested in you...but I wouldn't. There is too big of an age difference between the two of you. If you don't want to ruin the friendship just let her down easy and as nicely as you can but don't make up any BS excuse or lie to tell her. That just makes it worse...

Sounds to me the 'friendship' feelings turned into something more.
She doesn't know what to do about it so she's avoiding you and
acting weird. I'd say the best thing to do is talk to her about it.
Tell her how you feel and get it out in the open so she know
where things stand..

maybe she has bad breath and doesn't want to breath on you. maybe she's gotten some vibes from you that you like her...

either way, you probably aren't imagining that she's avoiding you at least a little bit. maybe ask her if everything's alright, if you did something that has bothered her lately. just be upfront. i like it when guys bring that up, one guy i was seeing once was like "why do you not let me get close to you?" and i didn't even realize i was doing that until he told me!
good luck. and i know you said you don't like her that way... well if you do, or decide you do... you have one more year to go!

She might feels tat u interested in her although u have no intention to. U need to tell straight to her that u treat her as a soul mate.
