I have read the replies so far and as far as I know there is no legal racial segregation in any country worldwide. This, however, is a law passed by the government and nothing to do with the people. Racists are found in every country in the world and more then often harsh words are also exchanged. I as an Indian do a lot of business with South America and have never found that much of it existed in Mexico - but when I went down south to Argentina I was told by a very good friend of mine ( an Argentinian ) that the people would tolerate me for business purposes but never as a part of their social group - and what he said was very true.
