My grandma used to make it all the time and it was SO good. I want to try making it however I need a recipie or some guidlines. I know that it was Brownie mix and chocolate pudding baked together. The brownies would end up on top and the pudding would be slighlty runny on the bottom. Do you put the brownie mix on top of the uncooked pudding? Do you cook the pudding first? HELP

Ok, the pudding is heavier than the brownie mix, hence the sinking, and the brownie mix has flour and some baking powder-type ingredients already in it to make them rise so I would recommend pudding in first and pour the brownie mix in top, DO NOT STIR them together as this will destroy the separation of the 2. Hope this works out for ya and maybe a nice dollop of whipped cream on top to cut the richness!

A variation of your pudding-cake combination is "Poke Cake"...
After your baked (white) cake (in a 13"x9" pan) has cooled, poke holes in it with the handle-end of a wooden spoon.
Spread with your favorite flavor of ready-made pudding; chill.
Very refreshing!
And a variation of this is "Jell-o Poke Cake"...
After your baked (white) cake (in a 13"x9" pan) has cooled, poke holes in it with a fork. Pour your favorite flavor jell-o (mixed with the directions for water) over the cake, and chill until jell-o sets.
Probably even more refreshing!
