'undocumented' is a 'soft' word, kind of like what George Carlin talks about. Check out what he's got to say about language...it's pretty darn educational.

Anyway, the proper nomenclature/verbiage for the uninvited mexican northward migration etc(they're not alone, just the majority of illegals are from Mexico, not all) is 'illegal alien', as in 'you're breaking the law by being in our country'. The liberals/communists/ whatyoumaycallem are in favor of illegal immigration, because the newcomers will take any port in a storm, whereas the republicans/conservatives 'have their panties in a wad' because they see that the law's being blatantly broken, that is, the ones that don't own fruit-packing companies or something who are making a buck off the whole deal.

Basically, Mexico's screwed without some good reforms, and that'll never come about as long as the gate's standing wide open. What's funny is that america's supposed to pay for the whole charade...

We aren't. It's just that we're not stupid enough to buy into the liberal doctrine of change for change's sake.

We are very much aware that change comes, but radical changes based on nothing but smug and sanctimonious rationalizations and the leftist need to 'do something' are mostly disasters.

When people want to help other people break our nation's laws and circumvent our processes, we have a problem with that. Lawlessness has a way of snowballing. We have no issues with addressing the illegal alien issue, but we need to eliminate idiot rhetoric like yours.

As for allowing 'colored' people running for president, quite a number of conservatives think Condi Rice would make an excellent presidential candidate. There are a number of up & coming conservative blacks (and other minorities, too) that are ascending the political ranks. Blacks are prominent in conservative political think-tanks and commentary and activism.

It would seem you pulled this falsehood from your rectal cavity.

Lies, falsehoods, smears - are these the only things leftist have to offer the US?

I don't think that change has much to do with illegal immigration. I have absolutely no problem with immigrants who respect our country enough to follow our laws, but why reward law-breakers? I really don't understand your point. Let's expand a little - okay, so they're undocumented workers. What's next? Let's look at some extreme examples. Do we quit calling people rapists and start saying they were merely persuing unrequited affection? No more murder - simply retro-active abortion? It's not the immigration I have a problem with - it the LEGALITY of it.

I don't blame anyone for wanting to make a better life for themselves, but why is it wrong to expect them to follow our laws? Should we just entirely do away with immigration and just let anyone and everyone in? I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm just really curious as to what changes YOU think should be made to accomodate people who break our laws. And where do we draw the line? Don't you think it's a slippery slope when we make exceptions to our laws? Or are you an anarchist, who thinks we'd be better off with no laws of any kind?

I consider myself a conservative person; however, I do not believe that I am prejudice against any race or nationality. On undocumented aliens, they are in this country illegally and to keep them the same rights as legal aliens is unfair to the legal aliens. Also, the illegal aliens is not paying taxes on his wages, and you or I do not know what kind of character he has. Is he a terroist, raptist, murderer or just some poor person trying to make a better life for himself and his family? Although, I am white, older, and southern, I know of at least 3 Africian-Americans, I would vote for for president. I am not afraid of change;however, I do not believe in change for change's sake. If it is not better than the old why change? Your question, to me, sounds like you believe everything should be changed just because your parents and grandparent generation lived by those rules. You are not thinking, you are just trying to be poticianally correct and with the "in"crowd.

First of all the undocumented are ILLEGAL,and I would love for any one that had morals and ethics to run for president, they would get my vote no matter what color they were.
When an illegal immigrants quest for a better way of life causes my legal way of life to become worse then you are damn right I get upset.First of all I am a legal citizen and I deserve a better life far more than an illegal interloper does.I have the right to speak English in my own majority speaking country.I have the right for our children to go to an uncrowded school that isn't over run by illegals children's that my taxes pay for.I have the right to live my life and my culture as I feel best and not have any one elses forced on me.Why cant the illegals learn English, pay for their medical care, all pay taxes, all stop desecration this nations flag .Stop demanding things that as an illegal you have NO right to have.
Being illegal is a criminal act,a misdemeanor BUT.
Helping,aiding,sheltering,abetting,hiring illegals.... are federal felony's.

Bush had asked Colin Powell to be Vice President. Can you tell me what Democrat has done that? What democrat had a Secretary of State that was African American? In fact, if Condi runs for president, she will run under the REPUBLICAN ticket. Your argument makes absolutely no sense. It's not change we don't like, it's BAD POLICY. Change is not always a good thing. Why do liberals want to change things that don't need changing? Do you know that most Catholics are democrats? Saying that Democrats are liberals are stating that Catholics are not conservative. You might lose a giant portion of your constituency doing that. You need to understand policy and issues before making inflammatory remarks....

Why do liberals speak in politically correct euphemisms instead of the truth. You said make life better for undocumented workers. You mean give a free ride to illegals who are breaking the law. Then you call being against breaking the law "being afraid of change.

If the changes were taking me to a Star Trek kind of place, that wouldn't be so bad. Instead it's more like "Road Warrior". Alot what you think is "new" ,has been tried and failed in history, and has nothing to do with color. I'm all for change....I just want to go forward, not backwards.

If we make life better for undocumented workers, we make life WORSE for everyone that is here. Not saying that its not nice to help people out but not to the detriment of of own people. No one cares about colored persons running for presidency. More power to them.
