To wit:

"Reason must be deluded, blinded, and destroyed. Faith must trample underfoot all reason, sense, and understanding, and whatever it sees must be put out of sight and ... know nothing but the word of God." ~ Martin Luther

Martin Luther was a protestant, so that means only PROTESTANTS and logical reasoning are incompatible!

I'm a protestant but i believe that Christianity and logical reasoning are not incompatible. Having faith without reason would be like walking on a non-existent ground; a baseless belief. To believe in any religion is a calculated risk. Reason can only bring you to a certain degree of understanding with what you believe. After that, it's up to you to believe or not. After all we have our limitations and we can never fully grasp who God truly is because He is too great.

There comes a time in everyones pursuit of knowledge, when our logic and reason can not explain certain things. I can understand the Big Bang theory for example, yet I can not understand why it happened or how? Who created the very first atom or the void of space? Our logic and reason only take us so far. I choose to relay on Faith to answer these questions. For me logic and reason are very much a part of the development of my Christian Faith. I believe them to be gifts from God. Albert Einstein said, "Science without religion is lame, Religon without science is lame."

Christianity and the presenst human logic (namely the one we got after the fall of Adam) are incompatible. Divine logic and Christianity are just about the same thing.
