Sounds like onychomicosis. You need to take medication like Lamisil for months for this to clear up. You need to see your doctor about this. However, if you don't have insurance one of the home remedies that work is rubbing Vicks Vapo Rub into the affected toenail nightly. This will take longer to clear up but if you make it part of your nightly foot care, it will become routine. The eucalyptus in the vicks helps kill the fungus. Also tea tree oil is good for this too. Just depends on what you can afford.

It is a fungal infection. You need to get an antibiotic from your Dr. If you don't feel like going to your doc then try soaking your foot in Listerine. If the infection isn't very bad then that will clear it up. Good luck.

Sounds like nail fungus. There is a prescription medication Lamisil, but it's really hard on your liver. Go see your doctor for any other options.
