I'm taking the class and sometimes feel overwhelmed with all the different routines and keeping them straight. Does anyone know of any printable cheat sheets that includes figures and explanationsthat I can study up and feel more comfortable during class....it's a great workout, i want to stay in it. Any other hints or feedback would be great also.

I am like you, some of these classes, the tempo is so fast, I feel like I am just flailing around. The best hint I can give you is to relax, remember any and all movement is good as long as you are sweating, and stand behind someone who is good in the class and just imitate.

I gotta be honest, though, I am a good athlete, and finally just quit going though, I just felt like the music was too fast to do the moves safely. I can get a better, safer workout on the treadmill or outside.

It will take time, is all. Practice make perfect. Usually the routine you do is whatever the instructor feels like doing that day. There are usually no cheat sheets. But ask your instructor that. Those classes are usually fast paced. I am an insturctor as well and it is important for a new student to inform me of their problems, questions and concerns. Tell him/her all this, and hopefully that will give the instructor a hint that he/she needs to either slow down, or be more clear and concise about the work out.

A good instructor gives hi and low intesity moves and takes time to ease into each pose, explaining fully. That is, unless you are in an advanced class. Make sure the class you are taking is for beginners too.

Hope this helps
