well here's an example a friend of mines doesn't like nuts (peanuts and etc) and someone said ''you don't like the taste of nuts in your mouth!'' obvoisly that didn't come out right. I would of gave you something better but i couldn't think of anything else. if you say peanuts more than once like 3 times really fast guess what that sounds like.

My mom is German and says crab but it sounds like crap- was telling me one time
" the guy next door brought her some crap over and it was so good - she hadn't had any crap that good in so long" --took me a few to figure out what she was saying -
does this count-- My sister and I crack up every time we hear her say crab -

My father-in-law calls those rubber overshoes (that you put over your dress shoes on rainy or snowy days to protect them) "rubbers." I'll never forget the first time I was going out with my boyfriend (now husband) on a date on a snowy night and my future father-in-law reminded him to bring his "rubbers"!!!
