If you click Start in Windows, then control panel you'll find an icon for add or remove programs. Then, go down to Yahoo! Services and click on it. It will then remove it. At that point, you'll need to restart your computer, but it will probably prompt you to do that automatically. If the icon still appears, just delete it, sometimes uninstalls won't get rid of those. If it freezes still, there's a good chance that you have it on there from spyware. So go to adaware.com and spybot.com and run and install those programs, then try to go back and uninstall the toolbar.

I had an analogous situation. got here upon yet another man or woman that mentioned flow your cursor over the blue bar and hit shift+enter. This worked for me. It suggested a window merchandising a sparkling Yahoo gadget Bar, so I uninstalled the Yahoo gadget Bar on my computing gadget and that i did no longer come upon the priority back. solid success.
