I am reading through a lot of these Q's and I realize there are a lot of school kids on here now. I want you to listen to me about this. The advice on here is helpful and usually honest, but often it is going to be as conflicting as your own thoughts are, so where does it get you? I am not saying don't ask, don't answer, don't listen to what is said here. I am just saying eventually you will have to make decisions on your own and you WILL make mistakes (esp when it comes to relationships) but that is how we learn who we are and what works for us. Anyone out of school reading this, am I telling the truth? How many dumb things are in your past? I have millions, but I laugh about them now and even tell my gf, which makes her laugh, too. Kids: you're young. You're not perfect. Make mistakes. Learn to be yourself. OK?

I know some of you think I'm crazy, but I am too old to care. Consider: if you are asking a question on here that you are too embarassed to ask your friends or family, maybe you're not ready to go through with whatever you're asking about. I really do think advice is good and maybe you just need to hear what you were already thinking or something somebody says really makes you look at things differently, but I think it's a bad idea to make major decisions about sex and relationships based on anonymous opinions. We don't have to live with your decisions.

I liked what you wrote!! I'm fairly new too this site but I've seen a LOT of school age kids asking questions on here and I don't agree with a lot of the answers they receive. and you are right, eventually they will have too make decisions on their own and they will make mistakes. But making mistakes is all a part of life and that's how we learn. Heck, I'm 48 years old and still make mistakes I learn from!! lol..My advise too these young kids is the same as yours, make mistakes, learn too be yourself and also don't be scared too go too your parents or an aunt or uncle that you are close too if you need advise on a really pressing issue.

Yea you can say that but the thing is most of the time we know the answer we just like hearing from someone else also so we know were making the right decision and also because we want to talk about it to other people. I'm a senior in high school and that's how i feel.

I love the fact that you said "all y'all". Its the only reason I'm reading this.
I do agree with you. All I can do is look back and laugh at all the stupid things that I did growing up. Staying in bad relationsips and putting myself in bad situations. But I've learned and grown from it. I wouldn't be the person that I am today if I hadn't and I love who I am. I don't regreat anything that I've done, I've learned from them all and I know what not to do. I definately think making mistakes is a good learning expierence. I think everyone has to go through that one terrible relationship to know that you can do way better.
I hope my thoughts weren't too random.

i am 14 and a freshman in high school. i have great friends that i could talk to and a lot of people on this site do but sometimes we need to here it from other people. u know sometimes friends just tell u what u wanna here so they don;t hurt your feelings and all. i enjoy asking people on here for advice and sometimes i don't angry with them but that's the way life is, and maybe some of us here really have no one to talk to. i make mistakes in life and i learn from them who doesn't. so please just relax a little.

We do need to be careful about our questions and answers... not only for the sake of the children, but for all (self included).
The choices we make, can cause us to either gain or lose ground (not just the level/points)... & we could either be building up or tearing down.

WHAT IN THE WORLD!!!! You make it sound like we are trying to make people do drugs.We are not drug dealers we are people trying to help people. Whoever made you do drugs when you were younger.....i am so sorry but like you said we make mistakes
