1 ounce of cheese = four dice or a tube of lipstick

I think they say your chicken or steak should be about the size of your fist... I think that's 6 oz. Any leftover you save and eat the next day. That's the only one I know, sorry:)

lol good question. Look at your hand, the palm is the entree, meat, fish, chicken. The fingers are the portions of your sides, potatoes, rice and veggies. The whole hand is your salad. And whatever you do...wash your hands first! Have fun.

When eating a balanced meal - 1/2 of your plate should be fruit and/or veggies. 1/4 protein (fish, chicken, etc.). 1/4 should be carbs - preferably whole grains and complex carbs.

i agree with big j - i also heard the use of a deck of cards as a size portion -

i good thing to follow is the size of your fist, if the serving is larger than your fist then it is too much. it is proportion to your size, my fist might be larger, but that is a good rule to follow
