my bro-n-law is facing deportation, has no one in brazil nor does he speak the language. just trying to help out anyway that I can. thanks for the answers.

Yes. An infant adopted at age 1, deported following a felony conviction. With no prospects for survival there because he doesn't speak Portuguese.

US law has changed regarding citizenship of adopted children. But too late for him.

A Brazilian friend of mine when to Rio with me a couple of years ago and the US would not let him reenter, so he had to stay in Brazil. He had a job, an apartment, a whole life here.

I dont anyone personally, but a plane load were sent back about two years ago, +-200 Brazilians. why ?
