If you are asking whether God created "bad stuff" like Hitler, the answer it yes, He created all that was ever created. John 1:3 confirms this: "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."

However, if you are asking whether God created evil, my answer is no. Evil is not a tangible thing; you cannot have a bowl-full of evil. Evil results from a human being's decision to go against the will of God. That's why God is not responsible for Hitler's evil.

I hope this seems logical to you, although I understand you do not believe.

Peace.

God created everything. Everything serves a purpose. Satan does not create nor can he directly make anyone do anything, only tempt and try to lead, the choice toward bad has to be made by the person. In the world the things we see as bad may not be by nature, ie forest fires destroy but also create an environment for new growth and change all in perspective....what are you considering to be bad....even disease can serve a positive purpose as several friends of mine who have died of cancer had positive influences on people maybe for the first or few times in their lives as they were dieing and it also brought family back together after years of being apart....just some disconnected thoughts here....

God does not create evil; he allows it to occur. When he originally created the world, he created all things good. He created people, however, with the freedom to choose. This includes the freedom to make right and wrong choices. Often those wrong choices bring about consequences that end up hurting ourselves or other people, sometimes innocent victims who didn't deserve it.God could intervene and control everything about our lives--the good and the bad--but then we would merely be robots and not truly free. He could even force us to love him if he wanted, but then forced love isn't true love. He gives us the freedom to choose or not to choose him, the freedom to live and enjoy life, and the freedom to make right and wrong choices. Unfortunately, we are left to deal with the consequences of our own and other people's actions.the God of love is also a God of justice. For all those who make wrong choices, hurt innocent victims, and get off scot-free, a time is coming when they will face the consequences of their actions. God is the Ultimate Judge, and in due season, God will judge everyone, both good and bad, for all their deeds. "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account" (Hebrews 4:13).God often uses the trials of life for a greater good, often to develop our character and make us better people.God has provided a way out. A time is coming when there will be no more suffering. In heaven, people will enjoy a paradise beyond imagination.God does care. He never promised life would be problem-free, but he promised to be with people.

You know what I have noticed here. People that say they do not believe in God also have a hard time accepting the fact that man did create the bad things in this world.
I have told people time and time again that believing in God is their choice and time and time again it gets a thumbs down. See there, the willingness not to take responsibility of choice.
Bad things happen because good people sit back and do nothing.

Even Richard Dawkins has reported that 'fantastically progressed extraterrestrial beings might have sown guy seed into the primordial goo. he's a touch usual atheist . no longer all atheists do no longer think of each little thing is produced from no longer something. they suspect the situations have been superb for the Earth to be shaped . no longer all Christians have self assurance in evolution . some do.

In a trickle down effect he created evil? What a load of horse dung! Why would a loving, caring deity knowingly create something which causes pain and suffering to the creatures He supposedly loves? Good grief!

I agree with statement. Let me see if I can translate Christian logic into something more understandable.....

God created the World, Humans, and Angels. Lucifer is the First angel and had free will. Against God's command, Lucifer tempted Eve into eating the fruit that God told her not to. Therefore, it was an act of Lucifer, not God that brought evil into the world. Humanity just gave birth to it.

Did God create evil? Yes. but it took Lucifer and Humanity to give it life. I hope that helps.

If matters had proceeded from the beginning as God wanted them, nothing we call 'bad stuff' would exist.
However, someone put a stick in the spokes and he is the one responsible for 'bad stuff.'
True, God has tolerated 'bad stuff', but he is not the cause.
Why has he tolerated 'bad stuff'.
There is an issue involved and it takes time to settle it.
What is the issue?
If you really want to know, I'm sure you'll ask.

What are you ppl talking about, in Exodus, it clearly states,
"the LORD repented of the evil He thought to do" right before Moses went out and slaughtered 3,000 people for the victimless crime of worshipping a golden calf. Therefore, God is most certainly capable of doing evil.

Don't believe me? Read your Bible, he prevents Pharaoah from releasing the Israelites by "hardening his heart" so that "my wonders in Egypt may be multiplied". In other words, he controlled Pharaoah's actions so that he could show off and kill a bunch of egyptians, inluding every first born son (including the babies!). If that's not evil, then what is?

This is just one example of how God is clearly capable of evil.

God did create everything it is the rebellion against what God created (sin) that is the direct cause of all the evil.
