Can I convert to Islam and wear bikini tops & shorts in the summer?

If I converted to islam and wore mini skirts for example would that make me a bad muslim?
Would my faith be less than if I covered up?
Wont Allah love me just the same as everyone else because he is love?
Dont you think the problem is lust and that men cant control their urges so the women need to cover up?
How do I know that a man still doesnt lust for me after Im covered up?
How do you know that women dont lust after men whilst their covered up?
I dont want to hear I need to be covered for my own protection,self respect and modesty.
I want to hear why cant my faith be accepted just the same despite
the clothes Im wearing.
Im interested in the answers but not "because Allah says so" or quotes from the Qu,ran.
If the faith is strong then why cant you wear what you want?
I could still get raped covered up.

My extensive research on Islam has led my educated opinion to be as follows:

1.) You will get stoned in the vast majority of Islamic countries for wearing the attire you specified.

2.) Your faith and goodness as a woman is tied in with the assumption of modesty and submission, hence the veil and burka for devout "good" Muslim women.

3.) Yes. Women still get raped covered up.

4.) Men have the upper hand in Islam. Women are to submit, and not in the Christian "head of household" sense either. No, it's complete and total submission to the will of the husband.

5.) You will get no respect from most Muslims non-covered as a woman.

First of all i would like to tell you that 'Allah' is not a different god from the Christian or Jewish God. The word 'Allah' is a translation of God into the Arabic language and the word 'Allah' is the only word Arabic speaking Christians have for 'God'.

I am not making an assumtion of you being Jewish or Christian but if you read the sacred texts, this kind of stuff is already banned before the Quran.

Ans: No, your faith will remain the same but it depends on what God thinks of you since Islam means 'submission to God', you will need to show that you have submitted as much as possible.

First of all i want to ask u that did u have accepted Islam and if yes then read carefully, In Islam there is no concept that any muslim think that what the Religion Islam says is right or wrong Islam is the Compelet Religion in the world all the rules and regulations in Islam are 100% accurate and right for any body want to live a peacefull life. Islam have given the solutions of all the problems in this universe to mankind 1000's years ago and a very beautiful rule for women to avoide to be raped here is the Question How? the answer is in Islam a word "Hijab"/"Hijjab" means that women must wear cloths that will hide the private parts of the body like the chest, abdominals and part from lower abdominal to the legs joint of a women and arms, a women should avoide wearing such cloths in which the shape of her body will easily be seen through her cloths, a women should avoide wearing heavy graphically colored cloths that attract men towards them. when the women has to go out side the house she must follow these wearing rules and also wear a "Nakab" like a scaff thing that will cover the hairs and the part of face between the nose and chin, to ears. If we see this rule scientifically that is the solution for avoiding a women be raped by someone because the men who want to rape any women first of all saw the face then the shape of body of the victim being raped and if the women follow these things she will automatically be avoided raping because no one will see her face or how her body looks like this is a just simplest and shortest explanation i have given this needs more explanation but its enough for now if you want to learn anything more about islam then contact me i will give you the usefull resources to learn the correct islamic teachings. Note that you may wear anything inside your house to make your husband happy but not after any budy else then him like someone outsider or etc. It is not allowed to wear just bikine and walk out side on a beach or in summer in Islam. The answer is no, I'm afraid. If you follow a religion, you have to accept it with its rules, it's not a supermarket where you can pick up only what you like. It's the same for all religions, not only for Islam. This does not mean that God will not love you, God do probably love even Atheists as long as they're good people. I just don't think you could consider yourself a good Muslim.

My sister in creation, I read your question and I realize that the answer you seek will not be satisfactory to you if I quote the Quran or relay the words of Muhammad upon him be peace, therefore I will attempt to answer it to the best of my ability. My sister, faith in Allah or God, which ever word is satisfying to you, is not contingent upon ones outer dress, it is a product of ones inner garment which is the heart. You see even some muslims fail to comprehend this and for this reason the muslims themselves are in a quagmire for you see they are judging peoples hearts by their dress. But what you must understand is that dressing in skanty attire plays the exact same role in as much as the wearer is aiming to empress upon others their view. The question is: would you stand naked infront of your father? Would you dress in revealing attire infront of your grandparents? Most people would not. The question is than, if you wouldn'tdress that way infront of human beings who share a blood connedction with you why would stand before God in such clothing when you know He has commanded that men and women guard their modesty? Dress as you like, but at the same time open your heart for God and allow your self to grow in His love. Meditate upon His magnificence and realize that no matter what you wear, in the end you are His servant and His love is inreality unconditional for He loves us even when we hate Him. He does not possess our petty human qualities, inhibitions and prejudices. He is not a muslim, christaian , hindu or jew He is the creator of the universe and maintains it all. Peace be to you.
