ive got one of them too i know exactly how you feel! i cant help but laugh at some of the things she comes out with but sometimes it becomes a strain you find yourself in a full blown argument thats actually about nothing just dont let her win which can be easier said than done good luck!

Just keep going and correct her when she is wrong. Mine are eleven now and act like 35 I still find myself talking to them like my office mates when trying to get my point over. They do come out of it eventually and I still smile at some of the things they say but only when they are not looking. Think this is the part of growing up I forgot.

make it clear to her at home who is the adult. use behaviour techniques such as the time out or the naughty step/chair etc. as simple as they sound they send out a clear message but u have to make sure ur ar CONSISENT. let her know what u think is and isnt acceptable and set clear boundaries. speak to the school or her class teacher if u want them to carry on any discipline method u are implementing at home as usually they will be only to happy to integrate it into the childs school practice.Hope this helps

Well Im sure that she'll settle down once shes been in school a while and realise that she has to fit in with the other kids.

give her time she will settle down in time its a very big thing going to school at 5 she is just trying to fit in as soon as she makes friends she will change good luck :o)

I have a son like that..... he is now 14 going on 40!!!! You learn to laugh at it. I wouldn't have him any other way. At least I know he will make me smile every day.
