hi just a question is there any speaical technique to placing the velcro behind patches to then be placed on a flight jacket (aprat from getting your wife, girlfriend or mother to do it for you!?!?

quick easy way, is a little super glue. I was a flying crew chief for 5 years, and don't know how many times I did this.

Best way is let the base laundry do it for you.
Check at the BX you can normally get the patches and name tags with the velcro already on them
