Lets say I want to know what car to buy. I write all the names of the cars I am interested in on separate pieces of 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper and lay them all over the family room. Then I say to the cat "Will you please tell me what car to buy?" and eventually the cat will lie right down on one of the papers. Thats the one I buy!!!

LOL my cat does that with my homework all the time. i've eventually trained her to lay down using this paper method. it works like a charm. now all i have to do is point (my finger on the flooring) and she'll go and lay down right at the spot around my hand. it's really nice because that way we can cuddle and get a quick nap in! :D

my cat lays on anything on the floor, it just so happened that one was probley closest to you, If it makes you happy go for it. you know what I love when I ask my cat if hes hungary and he meows VERY loud. LOL
