Like Jesus said "They would not believe even if a man came back from the dead". If the Holy Mother was standing right in front of them with Jesus they would still not believe.

It's true. Mary often appears before great tragedy. Like in Rwanda. There were approved aparitions. Her begging people to put aside their hate.

She doesn't ask for conversion. Only love, prayer and penance.

With Guadalupe, that happened at the same time Martin Luther was leading some 9 million Catholics astray. Then Mary appeared in Mexico and brought in 11 million.

Amazing, isn't it?

In my opinion, though, Medjugorje is demonic. I've done a lot of research on it. It's much more of a New Age hot spot than Christian.

People are gullible.

Our brains are naturally wired to see patterns. You think you see a big cat hiding behind the tree and you avoid it-- if you are right you live and if wrong only inconvenienced. So evolution as made us very predisposed to see patterns that aren't really there.

When I look at clouds I see all kinds of things. Because they are really there? NO. Because I have a brain that looks for patterns. If I saw a face on a piece of toast, I wouldn't think there was anything divine about it.
