Either slice it and use it on crackers, or on a sandwich. Cheddar makes a great grilled cheese sandwich.

I know the feeling of hving too much of 1 thing.
If you live close to a homeless shelter or any feeding program, maybe you could repack the cheese basket with other stuff and give it to them, or maybe you could give some to a less fortunate family close by or maybe just tell your friends & family you have a basket of cheese and give them some.
Another idea is you could have a Sunday brunch, invite a couple family memebers and friends then you'll get a chance to use up the cheese in a variety of dishes, casserole, dips etc.
Its one thing to eat cheese and appleslices or crackers but its a whole different story when you have a 'basket of cheese'.Last resort is shred the cheese and keep it in your fridge, it comes in handy to sprinkle on food stuff. Cats love cheese if you have a cat ask your vet for a healthy amount to feed it and do that.
GOOD LUCK WITH THE CHEESE.

It can be melted on top of almost anything from toast to baked chicken. Put it on a hamburger or any sandwich. I agree, it's good with apples just eaten sliced. Grated into a casserole or pasta dish is wonderful also oh and YES, it is very good in scrambled eggs!!!
You must not be "from here" as the expression goes... In America Cheddar cheese is everywhere on everything!!!

Chedder cheese is good on grilled cheese sandwiches. You butter two pieces of toast on both sides and then you slice the cheese and put it on the bread. Then you stick in a skillet and grill it until it is crispy or the way you like it. You can also eat it on meat sandwiches or even plain. Chedder cheese is so easy to work with. You can also make cheese dip if you want. Just cook some hamburger up and then mix it with cheese and their you go. I could go on and on, but here is a few ideas.

Grate it, or slice it, put it on some buttered toast and pop it into the microwave for a minute or two until the cheese melts. Add some brown sauce and you will totally enjoy the experience. Cheddar cheese is also wonderful with a nice Cox's Orange Pippin apple............... beautiful.............

You can use it like any other cheese!! Enjoy!
Extra fact:
Cheddar is a good source of vitamin B12 and therefore recommendable for vegetarians. A slice of vegetarian cheddar cheese (40g) contains about 0.5 µg of vitamin B12 (required daily intake for a grown man is 2.4 µg).

Cheddar is a great cheese because it is so vestal. Eat it plain, with crackers, cubed in a salad, graded on tacos, in mashed potatoes, on baked potatoes, sprinkled on chili In casseroles, finely graded on hot pop corn. Or you could send it to me and I will eat it for you.

Are you kidding me?!
Cheddar cheese goes great with so many things! You could slice it and eat it with crackers, or with apples.
You could grate it and put it in a tortilla to make a quesedilla, or (also grated) melt it over broccoli or in scrambled eggs.

I just usually take a knife and cut it up and eat it. You can make fajitas, enchiladas, sprinkle it on chili, top a casserole with it, the possibilities are endless!
Or just shred it and put it in a baggie and throw it in the freezer until needed. Please don't waste cheese!!! :)
