This girl had been flirting with me, and I started developing feelings for her. I told her that I didn't think it would work between us, and we decided to be friends because "That's what I wanted anyway!" according to her. Anyway, it was a little awkward for a while, but now I noticed nothing has changed. Some friends have noticed that she glances at me quite a bit, and last night we had a one-on-one conversation. She asked me stuff like where I wanted to get married, and then we talked about personalities. Afterward, a friend of mine said she was giving me REALLY flirty looks during that conversation. She says she does not like me, but she acts still like she does. What am I to think?

AAAHHH! Welcome to "The Game" my young friend. The game with no rules and if there are you don't now what they are. Figureing out women is not an innate ability, you must experience the mental masterbation that women thrust upon us to keep us guessing. Want to put a stop to it? Make up YOUR rules and if she foals out then game over, move on. This won't be the first time and it won't be the last. Buck-up and be a man.

Or rather you confuse the girl. You began developing feelings for her, fine, but did you follow it up to see where it would lead? She might have been getting some funny vibes from your body language that is indicating that you want to be only friends, so she's trying harder to get your attention. If you really want to know what she wants, ask her out and get it over and done with. At least, the feeling is mutual. Also, she may want you to ask her out first, that's why she's moving unto you. She must really like you and is giving you the GREEN flag so be a man and just do it. Or what other assurance do you need?

It sounds to me that because you have grown closer, her feelings have grown as well. This happened to me with one of my best friends in college. We were very close and after a while, romantic feelings surfaced and we ended up together. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and it ruined our friendship, no matter how hard we tried. I'm not sure what she wants, but you have to think about what you want before you continue with anything!

I honestly think it's now a challenge for her because she basically got shot down, so it's now her challenge to get you. I'm a woman and we love a good challenge! Why do you think there's so many women after married men or men who are already in relationships?? It's the challenge of getting something they can't have. That's my opinion anyway! Hope this helps!

You started developing feelings for her but then told her you didn't think it would work out? Why? How'd you make that jump? She obviously still likes you, don't be a tease and lead her on if you're really not interested.

are on a quest to preserve your virginity until marriage?

That doesn't count.

If you are a truly righteous human being I dare you to die a virgin. If you die a virgin, then that's something that came from within, from your own conviction, something that I respect. If you wait till marriage, then you are just another puppet of some religion.

If you don't fit neatly into any of these two categories, just bang the crap out of her and move on with your life.
