Lots of people have days like that. When I have days like that I just refuse to let it get me down. If I feel lonely then I will go out and meet with friends for dinner, or something else equally as sociable. Most of the way we feel is in our minds. There are some times that it's not that way and meds help for that but generally it's in our minds. You have to take control of your life back and start living for you. I am so sorry to hear about you mom. If you know what kind of perfume she wore try getting some. Smell jogs thousands of memories. The memories are there stored neatly away in your brain you just need something to bring them back to the forefront of your mind. Good luck!!!!

If your medicine still has had no effect after a few weeks, I suggest calling your doctor. They may change the medication or increase your dosage.
I've felt like that before, I was on Celexa myself. There is a path out of the pain. It's different for everyone, I hope you find yours.

I'm sorry that you lost your mom at such a young age, but you are here, and she would want you to be happy and have a full-filling life.
I have gone through depression myself, and I feel your sadness, but mine was for different reasons.
Your depression will pass, but you have to want to get better.
Stop beating yourself up for things that you have no control over. Everyone has crappy days; it's how we decide to handle our problems that will make a difference.
You have the power to change the way you feel; no one else can do it for you. Anti-depressants are only a crutch to help you fell better. Don't believe that you will always have to take them.
I've been reading a book by Joyce Meyer titled "Battlefield of the Mind". Stop by your local book store and buy a copy. It has really help me understand some of my own problems.
Find a church if you aren't a member of one and start going.
Start reading your Bible; don't have one, get one. Read it, Study it, Seek the Knowledge of God.
God will deliver you from your sorrows and pain.
God Loves You and is waiting to help you; Ask for His help.
Stop greiving your Holy Spirit, and start Believing and Trusting in God.
You're not going to find anything in this world to replace the pain that you are feeling. Let Christ come into your heart and fill that emptiness in you; Let His Love surround you and comfort you. All you have to do is call out to Him.
It's in the Bible, Psalm 34:4 "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from ALL my fears."
Bless you my sister, I pray in Jesus' name that you overcome and be victorious in all your battle's in life. Amen
YBIC, Carl

Past family can be hard to deal with!!! I lost my mom years ago to diabeties, then in 99 my dad to pancreatic cancer, and the 9th Sep, 2006 my oldest sister to lung cancer!
You are not alone! You have a boyfriend to help you over this! And I shall give you my thoughts that you may want to try, My mom always said "everyone is born w/something to accomplish for the LORD", and "There is always a BRIGHT side". The bright side is they are no longer in PAIN!!! You may want to ask your Dr for script of Xanex, mine did and at funerals I did not think of my loss, I realized they were no longer in PAIN!
May the LORD guide your thoughts and emotions through your troubled moments!!!

Im the youngest patient in my hospital to have his kidney removed for Cancer. I spent last month in a chair (sleeping too)I feel like im in the body of an 80 yr old. I feel sad n angry, even though I know that I am getting better. I can't help but think other people have it worse than me, and other people have overcome more than me. I don't know who you r but I promise you SOMEONE NEEDS YOU. It's friday.
