Before the seventeenth century, what ideas did people have concerning motion, velocity, and acceleration?

I need about a small 1 and a half paragraph on that....i'll give u 10 points if your right!!!!!!!

Before the seventeenth century it was was like the 1500's 16th century.so they had no views. they believed everything was evil.because according to i dont remember his name god was in him.so naturally they believed sice god was good an pure that everything else was not. so there was no reason to learn of the wasy things functioned only the way of the church ws the right way to go.

Why don't you Google for scientists of the centuries in question? There are probably tons of websites with that information or at least book suggestions. Why not get a basic book on Medieval History from your library? Most of them have pretty detailed information on thoughts of that time, religion and sciences. Check out what happened with Galileo when he dared to present scientific information that didn't mesh with the Bible.

I'm saddened that you'd rather be given answers, rather than ask for recommendations on how to best find out the information for yourself.
