It's a turnoff, yes. Everyone has a moment or two in their life where the temper flares and words come out, but if it's all the time, as a regular part of their sentence structure, then no, that's very unattractive. Frankly, when I hear people talking like that, I assume they're uneducated and ignorant. And if it's doing it in front of his friends a lot, he clearly has a need to show off and be the alpha dog, which is a very unattractive quality as well.

Best Regards,
Holly

I had a boyfriend and every other word that came out of his mouth was g*ddamn or ****. I didn't mind it so much, except that i started to pick up on it. He would be respectful in public, but when it was us or him and his friends he cursed a lot. I didn't care really, but for some people it is a turn off. Now that i think about it, he really was an idiot.

I don't care for it, at all. I do not curse like that in public & very seldom ever raise my voice or call attention to myself when I'm out - but my current b/f does curse a lot & I'm either going to have to ask him to stop or maybe just not go out with him. I'm really not accustomed to the things he says; it's just him & his two sons at the house & they talk man talk just as you described, all of the time. I love him dearly, but that's so different from myself.

There's a difference between cursing and talking like a construction worker. I don't mind a girl that curses sometimes, but not if she talks like a guy in the locker room.

Well, i was raised around a bunch of foul mouthed people..So that's where i get it from. & honestly, i don't plan on changing it. Cuss words are only adjectives n verbs...and nouns. They accent the expression, for instance, when you say, "aw, i lost my keys!" one would think oh..damn she lost her keys...but if i say, " Aww, sh.it! I lost my ******* keys!!" It's like more serious than the first one. & if a chick has a problem with my cussin..then i'm 100% sure our relationship won't work...so maybe that one isn't gonna fly sweetie...tthank u come again.

It is a big turn off to do it constantly, but guys think that ther'e big when they do that. Ask him politely not to when your around. Or keep leaving he might get the hint! He should do some groing up.

Constant swearing is a huge turn off. Especially if they mostly do it with their friends, because it's like their showing off or something. I don't mind a little, hey i do it myself.

Some guys do it in my school, i can only assume its for attention. Thank god they're right, it sure does give them attention - the bad kind.

Makes life easier for nice guys out there.
