God is perfect and unchanging. Anyone who does not perform human sacrifice is kidding themselves, and will probably still be doing so when they arrive in hell.

If you will recall, the only part of the sacrifice that was meant for God was the aroma! In which case, the "sacrifice" of Jesus was invalid since he wasn't a "burnt" offering.
Sacrifices were made by all cultures of the time and the Israelite God allowed his chosen people to continue some sacrificing -- but NEVER a human/child sacrifice such as the neighboring communities made. (God stopped Isaac's sacrifice to demonstrate that human sacrifice is never acceptable to Him.) God allowed His people to continue sacrifices of oil, grains, and little critters, but never a human.
The reason Jews no longer sacrifice is because God required all sacrifices to be made in the Temple. After the destruction of the 2nd Temple (70 CE), sacrifices were no longer possible (no Temple) and were replaced by prayer. The altar is now the family dinner table.
If you will recall, the Levites (priests) were not given any land and therefore had no means of support. The sacrifices of the other tribe members were meant to feed the families of the priests -- only the aroma was meant for God!
Please remember that the Israelites did not live in a vacuum. They were surrounded by many other cultures. God chose them to be his *holy* people (separate/apart) and to live by His laws -- no killing, no adultery, feed the hungry, care for the widow, etc. -- unlike other cultures!
We could still call our family BBQs sacrifices, but they're not valid unless the animal is killed in the proper procedure by a priest in the Temple. The *proper* procedure was to kill the little critter in the quickest, most humane method possible. Has the meat you eat been killed in the most humane method possible? If not, buy kosher meat. It is certified by a rabbi that the animal was killed as painlessly as possible, and every drop of blood has been drained and then soaked in salt to remove all blood. Somehow the "bloodlust" you speak of sounds more like the people of today!
If it's bloodlust you want, how about a God who sends his only son to be tortured and to die an agonizing death on the cross. All sacrifices had to be perfect -- without blemish. Imagine the blemishes on Jesus after the torture.

First it was not blood lust. If you read the old and new testement the sacrifices were a symbol of the perfect sacrifese his son would make. The sacrifices required in the Old testement were a type of what was to come. When Christ came he siad in me the law shall be fullfilled. He was the last and ultimate sacrifice. That lower law of physical sacrifice has been replaced by one of personal sacrifice and spiritual humility. It has gone from a public and mass adhearince to the law to a personal and private adhearence.

There has only been recquired one human live to be sacrificed . and that was a PERFECT life. the life of the Christ, the saviour, the lamb ( sacrificial lamb ) of God that takes away the sin of the world.
Jesus fulfilled the mosaic law and it died and was nailed to the stake with Jesus. hence we do not need sacrifices today because we live after the sacrifice mankind was in expectation of came along .

the sacrifices pointed to jesus and what he would do on the cross (as far as i am aware there is only one case in the bible where a human was actually sacrificed and that was because a man promised God if God did him a favour he would sacrifice the first thing that met him when he returned home and it happened to be his daughter.) all the animals had to be with out blemish (perfictly healthy), this represented the fact that jesus was sinless, yet just as that animals were an atonement for sin so jesus carried all our sins.
the reason God no longer requires animal sacrifice is because jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and all we need to do is accept his death and resurection and confess our sins to him and we are forgiven and can meet with God.

Human sacrifices and animal sacrifices are from true pagan religions. That is not the same GOD that is written in the bible and quran. There were and are still many dieties that exist. That is for the term of a false GOD. Or an idol GOD. But animal sacrifices still exists in many religions and cultures. Even in judaism and islam.

I suspect many people wonder about this—but God never does anything by accident, and He had a purpose in giving those sacrifices to His people in the Old Testament.
His purpose was to teach them some important truths—truths they needed to understand so they could serve Him. They also needed to know those truths so that they would be prepared for the time when God would send His Son into the world. The Bible says the Old Testament Law was like a teacher or schoolmaster, "put in charge to lead us to Christ" (Galatians 3:24).
What was God teaching them through those sacrifices? For one thing, He was teaching them the seriousness of sin. Sin isn't insignificant or easily excused; blood must be shed to atone for it. God also was teaching them that He is holy and pure, and sin must be judged. But God was also teaching them about His grace and mercy, because instead of being put to death for their own sins, He was willing to accept a substitute.
But those sacrifices are no longer needed, because by His death on the cross Jesus made the final sacrifice for sin! The Bible says, "But now he has appeared once for all... to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself" (Hebrews 9:26). Are you trusting Him for your salvation?

Because Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for all. When Jesus died, the veil in the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom. We no longer need to present sacrifices through a high priest. Jesus paid the price.

Those sacrifices were symbolic of and leading to Christ's Perfect Sacrifice, so animal sacrifices are no longer needed.

It was required in the Old Testament. During the Old Testament times, though, a Savior who would come and be the last sacrifice was prophesied. This was Jesus. Now we aren't required to sacrifice.
