I've been doing the internet dating thing now for a while and been on a lot of first dates in the past several months. I've noticed that most of the women are very anti-kissing on the first date, so I've actually adopted that rule for myself. However, now I think I'm finding that some women are taking my not kissing them on the first date as me being not interested in them after having a great first date and then even on the second or third date nothing will progress. Should I ditch the no kiss on the first date rule or what?

You should kiss when ever you feel you want to share something with the person and if you want to keep a memory of you 2 kissin, i would just kiss any hot guy i go out with!! hahah!! well good luck!!

I think you should keep it. If it does progress to further dates try the cheek first. Maybe tell her you feel like kissing her. Being open and communicative is the best thing for any relationship. I think it is very courtious of you to not kiss on the first date. This day and age there should be more guys out there like you.

it depends how the date goes if you really like this person then go for the kiss on the first date( make sure that the girl wants to kiss you as much as you want to kiss her) if you don't think that she is ready the wait until about the second or third :)

It depends on whether you like the woman or not, if you want a second date & are interested in her give her a kiss on the cheek ...if that's well recieved give her a light kiss on the lips. If I liked a guy when I was dating it was quite appropriate to give him a kiss...some folks are less affectionate, it really depends on the person.

Give them a peck on the cheek on the first date to let them know you are interested. Then on the next date you go in for a big kiss.. Good Luck!!
