but i cant have him because he is in love with his gf of 9 months but he wants to be friends and im 23 and he is 19 and i know i need to move on but why do we always want something we cant have?

Its all about the chase and the challenge.And the thrill at the end to say we can have anything we want!! One way to take your mind off of him is to just be with other guys, spend time with other guys get to know them and soon you'll forget about him!!

The curse of the forbidden fruit.
It's like when you go to the shops and you have no money, you see a pair of shoes you really like but you can't buy them because your trying to save. You resist but when you get home you become obsessed and don't think of anything but that pair.
It's the same with guys.
Your only human. You will just have to except the fact that he has a girlfriend. Go on! be the best friend you can be, you never know he might leave her for you. It's the perfect plan. and he will get the blame not you because he made the chocie.

There's two things you can do.
1. hang out with him more get to know him and maybe the friendship can turn into something else, although he has a gf..its okay their not married, and being married is such a bigger commitment (honestly).
2. I'm 21 and guys who are younger than me are no fun. You can't bring them anywhere, they can't drink, they just got out of being teenagers, and worst they can be immature. Women of our age need men who are old enough to not only take care of themself but us as well.
Also just follow your heart, if you like him you like him. You can't really control how you feel, or maybe your right, girls want what they can't have. =\

Because it's like a blow to our ego. you need to really get to know yourself. You are so young and will meet tons of people and have many experiences before you really need to concentrate on something like this. Don't waste time on this. You're so much netter than that. You have a whole future ahead of you and need to make the best of it.
