As already stated, native breeds must be shown in their natural condition for Mountain and Moorland classes. If you were showing her in a non-specific class you could possibly plait her up, but native breeds look their best when shown naturally.

If she is still a baby there is still lots you can do to prepare her for the show ring. Teach her good manners - how to stand still quietly and not to react when handled by the judge. Make sure she is calm when having her feet picked up and does not nip or bite.

Most of all, don't take it too seriously anddon't let your pony get bored with her new job.

all native breeds of horse and pony should be left natural no plaits at all. dont cut or pull the mane and leave the tail as natural sa possible. best of luck

Natives could desire to be shown thoroughly organic so no trimming and no plaiting. Scar smart that's going to not be a topic at a close-by practice - my sister's tb has a extensive scar on his shoulder that's enormously glaring and he remains located at interior sight shows. as quickly as you upward thrust as much as county point or extra then it could make a distinction yet not this sort of element you're making plans on doing.
